Wish I would have found this place sooner!
Came here today with my family around 12.
When we first walked in we thought we would have to wait a little bit because there was only 6 tables in the restaurant, and two tables in the front, all full. But then they tell us "right this way" and we are taken the tables in the back patio. So cute! Although it was pretty hot today, it felt really fresh back there. Music was nice too. Customer service was excellent. Even if we were the only the table back there they didn't forget about us. Now onto the food. My brother got the American breakfast, and my dad and I got the Panel on Criollo lunch. The meat and the rice taste so good together, and the Platanos that came with the plate was just right. I reallyyy really liked their house coffee with steamed almond milk. (I added 2 sugars to make it sweet) and I really want to try the drink everyone keeps talking about (chi chi ?) but I was too full so that will be for next time. Street parking, but it's not too hard to find something. Overall a great experience, hope you guys give it a try. -

CFB has always had a special place in my heart but I knew something was different during my recent visit. Then I saw on Yelp that the place is under new ownership.
My once beloved chicken capacha breakfast plate changed. The chicken meat is no longer a stew like consistency (unfortunately more on the dry side now) and the cheese capacha has less corn.. and was a bit burnt on the bottom. Although it did grow in size which was appreciated. -

Very friendly staff and food comes out fast. I got the arepas ala Venezolana for breakfast. It comes with 2 arepas (kind of chewy), shredded chicken (very good), beef (very flavorful), scrambled eggs perico style (very yummy), and plantains (which I didn't like at all). It was plenty of food and can be shared between 2 people. Just ask for a second plate.
I also tried a side of the cheese cachapa for the first time. It was really good and VERY cheesy. Just the way I like it. I washed it all down with their Chicha drink. It's a blend of rice, milk, and cinnamon. I really enjoyed it and would come back specifically for this drink if I was in the area again. -

I really enjoyed this quaint and charming Venezuelan cafe. I had the Cafe Almondera (coffee with almond milk and cinnamon) it was very good. I got the Cheese Chapaca with my eggs done Perico style (scrambled with tomatos & onions). Its 2 corn pancakes with cheese between them. So good. Its like a slightly sweet cheese tamale. It comes with black beans. I loved it. Would dedinitely come back.
My friend had arepas that were also good. I liked mine better though. -
